IT Provider Review: independent advice on what you need from your IT provider, and support to make sure you get it

Independent IT Provider Review

Clear, independent advice for businesses that rely on IT but don’t run it.

We help you establish what you need from your IT provider, whether you are getting it, and what to do if you are not.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Are we getting value for money from our IT provider?

  • Has our business outgrown its current provider?

  • How do we compare providers without relying on their sales pitches?

  • Who can manage a change of provider without disrupting the business?

Each stage stands alone, so you commission only what you need.

When an IT provider review is most helpful

None of these means your provider is failing. They are the moments when an independent view is worth more than taking the current arrangement on trust.

  • A renewal is coming up. You want to understand what you are paying for, and whether it still fits the business, before you commit to another term.
  • Costs have crept up. Invoices have grown, and it is hard to see what is included, what is extra, and why.
  • Service has slipped. Issues take longer to resolve, or the same problems keep returning, and it is difficult to tell whether this is a blip or a pattern.
  • The business has moved on. You have grown, added sites, changed how people work, or completed an acquisition, and IT has not obviously kept pace.
  • You are unsure how well protected you are. You would like to know whether backups, access controls and recovery plans would hold up, and whether they meet what insurers and customers now expect.
  • Nobody on the team owns the relationship. Reporting is technical, no one is confident challenging it, and you want a clear, plain English view of whether IT is supporting the plan.
