Born out of a shared desire to add value and get things done, 1080 Consulting Ltd was incorporated in 2005.
Why 1080? It refers to a skiing trick involving three full in-air rotations, which needs the right speed, height and control: making the impossible possible.
Before 1080 we worked for giants of the hospitality world, delivering business change through processes and systems ahead of their time, from helping Costa Coffee expand into smaller footprint sites to standardising back of house operations at Beefeater and Brewers Fayre. Over the last 20 years we have worked with a variety of businesses and individuals across many industries, and the common thread is delivering value and unlocking potential.

Ann Crozier
I work with CEOs, executive teams, and boards where decisions are complex and the stakes are high. I offer a trusted outside perspective that combines commercial honesty with genuine care. My approach is direct, confidential, and in plain English, focused on behaviour and impact, so leaders can move forward with clarity and confidence.
I have applied the same skills across hospitality, house building, fine wine, leisure photography, and criminal law, and I am a qualified coach with ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching accreditation pending.
Simon Crozier
I am brought in when something needs to get done, whether that is delivering a technology programme, putting one back on track, or developing a customer relationship, and getting customers, suppliers, commercial teams, and technical specialists heading in the same direction.
My background spans programme delivery, operations, and enterprise business development, and my approach is to put enough structure and governance around the work to keep it under control without letting process get in the way of delivery.
I spent more than a decade at Centrality, growing with it from around five people to a c.100-person, £30m-turnover managed services business acquired by Intercity in 2024. I now work through 1080 Consulting on technology programme delivery, strategic customer development, and client-side supplier advisory work.
