one approach, three levels
Decisions are made at every level of an organisation, and leadership effectiveness decides how well. The Leadership Impact System gives individual leaders, executive teams, and boards an evidence-based view of how leadership is landing, with focused, realistic shifts to improve it.
Each level has its own offer, complete on its own. Used together, they give a comprehensive view from the individual leader to the boardroom. Insight typically arrives within four to six weeks of engagement, depending on participant availability.
How we work
-
Plain English
Credible, accessible, and free of jargon
-
Behaviour and impact
What people see, and the effect it has, rather than personality
-
Insight that leads to action
Clarity that moves leaders forward, not analysis
-
Developmental
Supports effectiveness; it is not an appraisal
Experience behind the work
Our approach comes from 30 years of leading change in multi-site, PE-backed, and transformational environments. 20+ years at senior and board level. Our work has included work with wagamama, PizzaExpress, Mitchells & Butlers, Barratt Homes, and The Restaurant Group, and earlier delivery for Whitbread's brands, Laurel Pub Co, and Stonegate Inns.
We work alongside leaders, not at a distance.
The three levels
Evidence-based insight into how your decisions, influence, and delivery are experienced, with focused, realistic shifts to improve effectiveness.
Evidence-based insight into how senior leaders operate together, with practical shifts in alignment, trust, and pace.
An evidence-based view of how the board operates, decides, and governs, with the shifts that strengthen oversight and organisational confidence.
How We Work
Every engagement follows a structured process. Timings are indicative and depend on participant availability.
Week 1
Discovery
We clarify purpose and scope, understand the context the business and the individual, team, or board is operating in, and align on the 360 and interviews.
Weeks 2 to 4
Data Gathering
We agree participants, conduct the 360s and interviews, and gather evidence.
Weeks 4 to 6
Insights
We share feedback with the individual, team, or board, identifying the impacts. Individual engagements end here, with a feedback and planning session.
Team and board
Facilitation
A facilitated working session agrees the shifts that matter, with owners, next steps, and timelines.
Follow-up options
Individual coaching, facilitated sessions, and strategy alignment.
What Each Level Adds
Each level is complete on its own. Together, they bring clarity, alignment, and confidence from the individual leader to the boardroom, with clear actions at every level.
Individual adds clarity. Leaders know how their decisions, influence, and delivery land, and what to change.
Team adds alignment. The team agrees how it works together, with practical shifts in trust, challenge, and pace.
Board adds confidence. Directors strengthen oversight and challenge, so the organisation can trust how it is led and governed.
When This Work Is Most Helpful
None of these means something is broken. They are the moments when an outside, evidence-based perspective is worth more than another internal workshop.
- Impact matters more to you than activity.
- You want to know how your leadership is landing, particularly if you are new in post or recently promoted.
- Decisions feel slower than they should.
- Roles or accountability are blurred or lacking.
- There has been significant personnel change.
- The board wants honest, constructive insight.
- There is significant transition in the business or personnel.
- Stakeholder or regulatory expectations are increasing.
