About us
Born out of our shared desire to add value and get things done, 1080 Consulting Ltd was incorporated in 2005.
Why 1080? It refers to a skiing trick involving three full in-air rotations requiring the right speed, height and control, ie making the impossible possible!
Prior to 1080 we had worked for giants of the hospitality world, initially with Whitbread PLC’s multiple brands and subsequently Laurel Pub Co and Stonegate Inns. We delivered transformative business change through processes and systems ahead of their time; enabling brands like Costa Coffee to expand in smaller footprint sites; Beefeater and Brewers Fayre to standardise their back of house operations; pubs to offer real time promotions based on demand; and introduce standardised payment and stock and order solutions across the entire Division.
